The property is on the Ouveze River, with views of "Cotes du Rhone" vineyards, the Dentelles, and the peak of mighty Mont Ventoux just beyond the pool; in the opposite direction are views of the 12th century chateau on the cliffs just beyond the villa. The medieval village of Vaison-la-Romaine is wonderful for exploring - the village has one of the largest markets in Provence every Wednesday morning! There are two shaded terraces (with the same captivating views), one of which has an excellent summer kitchen and spacious outdoor dining - perfect for those afternoon or evening dinner parties!
The pool is large with an ample sized terrace for sun-bathing. The property has a wonderful set of nice china and crystal. This villa is ideal if you are seeking modern comfort with peace and quiet; but once here, you may have a hard time believing that you are a mere 2 minute's walk from shopping and restaurants in Vaison-la Romaine!
